Healing thermal water is exceptionally useful in health tourism and recreation. Bathing in thermal water is recommended especially for diseases of joints, tendons, muscles, blood vessels, peripheral nerve lesions, at gastrointestinal, gynecologic and even psychosomatic diseases and for difficulties such as stress, fatigue, reduced concentration and memory, hypersensitivity, irritability and sleeping disorders.
Daruvar spa
On an area of 1800 square meters there are three swimming pools (two outdoor and one indoor) with healing thermal water (water temperature: 28ºC - 35ºC) and with whirlpools.
Useful and healing effects of thermal water in this region were known even to the ancient Romans who cured themselves with hot, warm and cold baths.
Thermal water park Aquae Balissae
Over 2,000 square meters of water area is opened during the summer season in the Thermal water park Aquae Balissae. At the guests’ disposal, for entertainment, there are two swimming pools, three pools for children, a still river over 200 meters long, two slides, a sunbathing area and various catering offers, such as the restaurant and pool bar.
During the whole year, at the guests’ disposal, there is an inner pool with four 25-meter swimming lanes, a swimming pool for children, a cave, a slide and whirlpool.
The Thermal water park only uses geothermal water with the average temperature of 32 degrees Celsius.
