Among other awards the city of Daruvar won two
prestigious awards in Croatian competitions. According to the Croatian Chamber
of Economy and the Croatian Radio and Television Daruvar was awarded with Tourist
Flower-Quality for Croatia; it has won first place for two years in a row, in 2011
and 2012 year in the categories: tourism destination and destination with spa.
During the tourist season 2013th Croatian
Chamber of Economy and the Croatian Radio and Television conducted traditional
action "Tourist Flower - Quality for Croatia" which aim was to award
the best Croatian tourism destinations, hotels, marinas, campgrounds and
beaches, institutions, institutions, organizations and individuals who
contribute to improving the quality and competitiveness of the Croatian tourist
offer.
For the third time Daruvar was nominated among the top
tourist destination with spas and was voted as the best Croatian destination
with spa within the action "Tourist
Flower - Quality for Croatia 2013" conducted by the Croatian Chamber of
Economy (HGK) and the Croatian Radio and Television. Other nominees were Sveti
Martin on Mura and Tuhelj Spa.
Mayor of Daruvar, Dalihor Rohlik accepted the award
Tourist Flower-Quality for Croatia on Friday, 14th of March 2014 in
Zagreb at the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Economy. The award was given
by the Minister of Tourism Darko Lorencin.
